Kelly & Tyler | 7.8.17

Kelly & Tyler got married on what turned out to be a beautiful July day. We were all a little worried about rain, and they had prepared for any surprise rain by bringing several clear umbrellas for their guests. 

The rain seemed to almost know exactly when we needed to take pictures, and it would stop for long enough gaps to get some great shots. The wind, though, was crazy! We ended up using the umbrellas to try and block some of the wind. I couldn't help but think of the era that women would use their umbrellas as shade for the sun. Umbrellas are such a versatile thing haha - wind, sun, and rain. 

Kelly & Tyler got married at Sapphire Point Overlook. This venue is perfect for couples looking for a small outdoor space that don't want to hike a long ways to get to the ceremony site. And their reception was catered by Chipotle. I knew they were my kind of people ;)

My Favorite Detail: Kelly & her mom grabbed a newspaper the morning of the wedding and requested I take ring pictures with it. How cute is that?!

Tear Jerking Moment: When Kelly's twin sister gave the Maid of Honor speech and handed the 'best friend baton' to Tyler. Such a sweet, hilarious, tear-worthy speech!

A Tyler & Kelly Kind of Love: I get the feeling that they balance each other out very well, where each one has a piece the other doesn't. A perfect pair, full of patience for each other and a good focus on what's important to them.
