Kaitlin & Kirk | 6.3.17

Kaitlin & Kirk were high school sweethearts. High School sweethearts have a special place in my heart. It takes a special kind of love to endure all of the hardships of your Teenage years. I feel like I owe a personal, handwritten apology letter to most of my high school boyfriends. (Hey, if you're reading this, sorry I always ate your food and was 120% temperamental)

Have you guys seen Boy Meets World? It's been the show I watch while I'm editing recently, and these two were definitely like a Cory & Topanga. Some people are just made for each other, I tell ya. 

Kirk & Kaitlin got married at the Church at the Agape Outpost in Breckenridge, CO. It's tucked into a gorgeous spot in the mountains - basically a photographer's dream. Places to hide if it's raining, and places to explore if it's not. 

Favorite Detail: The gorgeous box Kaitlin gifted to Kirk with their new shared last name engraved on the top. Inside was a love letter and a knife to bring on his hunting excursions. Ladies & Gents, if you need to get your S.O. a wedding present, this was beautiful and meaningful and useful. win, win, win

Tear-Worthy Moment: There's always so many, but Kaitlin's father seeing her for the first time had me hiding the tears behind my camera big time.

A Kirk & Kaitlin Kind of Love: A love of endurance, soft and unspoken romance, chivalry (he literally swept her off her feet to bring her to our picture location) and stability.
